AlunaGeorge teams up with Popcaan on new single
Remember British duo AlunaGeorge? They finished as runner up in BBC’s Sound of 2013 and were tipped by the BRIT Awards to become big. Their brilliant single ‘Your Drums, Your Love’ made it to the top 50, but their success properly took off when ‘White Noise’, their collaboration with Disclosure, became a huge it. A remix of their ‘You Know You Like It’ was a slow burning success as well and after the one off single ‘Supernatural’ from October 2014, they are now back with the first single of their second album, ‘I’m In Control’.

For this new track Aluna Francis and George Reid collaborated with Jamaican artist Popcaan, giving a little dancehall vibe to their brand of synthpop mixed with a little R&B. Aluna takes the first verse with her distinctive vocal style and delivery full of attitude. Popcaan gets the second and in the chorus we get a deliciously catchy beatdrop which makes this collaboration all the more memorable after you heard it for the first time. Definitely hit worthy if you ask me, both in the UK and internationally!
