Alex Maxwell is on a roll with delicious second single
After the very promising debut single ‘Drive’, British talent Alex Maxwell was on my radar. I expected great things from her so she had to be on the list of most promising artists for 2016. Then the waiting for new material starts and you hope said artist is actually going to deliver. That is exactly what Alex Maxwell did with her second single ‘No Flight’, that was just released. It does not really sound anything like the style of ‘Drive’, but it might even be better than that!

The 22-years-old singer-songwriter from London is currently working on her debut album, to be released at Hollywood Records later this year. She created second single ‘No Flight’ with the help of production team The Flight. The song starts out quite dark with her vocals and a bluesy guitar and you feel it carefully builds up to something big. This big thing comes in the form of a humongous, soaring chorus that shows of Maxwell’s powerful vocals. This track gives her more room to belt out and rightfully so, as this voice needs to be heard in full glory! The vibe of the tune at times takes us back to the best days of Fleetwood Mac and that can never really be a bad thing, right? Where ‘Drive’ was a perfect introduction to Alex Maxwell, ‘No Flight’ is the one that shows she could become a force to be reckoned with in pop music!
