Single Review: Måns Zelmerlöw – Fire In The Rain

Mans Zelmerlow Fire in the Rain

Måns Zelmerlöw is ready to promote new single during Eurovision
It won’t be long until we find out who will be Måns Zelmerlöw‘s successor as winner of the Eurovision Song Contest. The Swedish pop star who received the most points last year with his song ‘Heroes’, will host the semi finals and final this year, held on the 10th, 12th and 14th of May. Of course this is a great opportunity for him to promote some new music as well, so it is not a surprise that he has just released the brand new single ‘Fire In The Rain’.

This track is not part of the initial Perfectly Damaged, the album he released just after winning the contest, but it will appear on a re-release called Perfectly Re:Damaged. The track will probably be performed during one of the Eurovision shows by the charming host! We can all look forward to that as ‘Fire In The Rain’ is a well written, infectious little pop tune. The chorus is instantly memorable and easy to sing along to and isn’t that just what we love when watching Eurovision? Zelmerlöw shows off his powerful vocals in the last chorus and the whistle all through this guitar pop piece makes sure the song won’t get out of your head anytime soon. Smart move!

Update: The music video premiered on the 13th of May and is full of nice visual effects, projected on the silhouette of Mr. Zelmerlöw.
