Sia premiered soundtrack song for Finding Dory
Sia is everywhere these days! The Australian pop star released her most recent record This Is Acting in January and is currently enjoying international success with her single ‘Cheap Thrills’. Earlier this week, a new song called ‘Waving Goodbye’ leaked, supposedly to be released as part of the soundtrack for the movie The Neon Demon. She was a guest on Ellen on Friday night to perform yet another new song. This time around it was the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Finding Dory. The song is called ‘Unforgettable’ and it is a Nat King Cole cover.

Ellen Degeneres, who is the voice behind the Dory character in the movie, was thrilled to announce that her friend Sia delivered the soundtrack for the movie and Sia’s live vocals were stunning as always. The singer-songwriter and pop star stayed close to the slightly jazzy vibe of the original and with a lot of strings and a classic vibe, it works perfectly as the soundtrack to an animation movie. Not one of Sia’s most ‘unforgettable’ releases, but this will definitely sell well when the movie comes out on the 16th of June.

Sia is touring for the first time since five years. She will perform on several European festivals during the summer and start a US tour in fall.
