Alida goes deeper and darker on new single ‘Pinocchio’
We have been falling in love more and more with Alida’s new music over the past few months and the Norwegian electro pop darling just keeps on delivering. After the release of the singles ‘When I Die’ and ‘Leave It All Behind’ she is already on to the next one. Today she dropped her brand new track called ‘Pinocchio’ and the sounds she has been experimenting with on her previous work, are taken even further here. We can’t get enough of her edgy brand of electronic scandi pop!

Alida first caught the attention with her single ‘Feathers’ in 2013, a delicious piece of straightforward electronic pop. She dropped her first album and returned at the end of 2015 with the much darker, but oh so exciting ‘When I Die’ and followed up with the unconventional, but insanely catchy ‘Leave It All Behind’. ‘Pinocchio’ is a great addition to her recent flawless single run. The build up to the chorus is melodically perfect and the instrumental breakdown that follows is very much in your face. Alida dares to experiment with elements of house, techno and other genres in electronic music, while still combining it with irresistible pop hooks. ‘Pinocchio’ was written by Alida herself and produced by Kid Joki. Well done both and please bring us an album full of this soon!
