Clean Bandit teams up with Louisa Johnson for big comeback
British formation Clean Bandit sure took their sweet time to record new music, but finally it is time for their big comeback. The ‘Rather Be’ hitmakers did not team up with Jess Glynne again, but recorded a song with UK X Factor winner Louisa Johnson. The track is called ‘Tears’ and it is the first single taken from Clean Bandit’s upcoming second album. It is a tune and a half which should be huge over summer.

After the re-release of their debut New Eyes, Clean Bandit started working on new material and the collaboration ‘Disconnect’ with Marina and the Diamonds was a first taste, but was only performed live once. There is no word on if this will ever see the light of day, but for now let us focus on ‘Tears’. Louisa Johnson wasn’t all too successful with her winners’ single, but that is all about to change now. Getting her als feature on the Clean Bandit single was a smart move for both parties as she sounds amazing. She has a lot of power and emotion in her voice and that is exactly what ‘Tears’ needs. The song starts out calmly, but quickly builds up as an empowering disco classic from the 70s with the contemporary twist of Clean Bandit’s strings infused beats. What’s not to love about that? Amazing!

Update: The video premiered and there is a lot of fire! They all look amazing by the way, don’t they!?
