Always wondered what pop stars themselves listen to whenever they are not on stage or writing new music? It’s time to find out! Every week, A Bit of Pop Music will bring you Friday’s Five Tunes, a selection of five favourite songs by a current pop artist. This week Hanna & Andrea talked to us about their current jams.

Hanna Larsson (yes, she is the younger sister of the Swedish pop star with the same last name) and Andrea Kallström have been good friends for six years now, after they met at a dancing school when they were just 10 and 12 years old. The Swedish duo shared an interest for dancing and singing and they now have released their debut single ‘Always On My Mind’. It’s a powerful anthem on love and friendship with a huge chorus! For A Bit of Pop Music they selected five songs that move and inspire them!

Kanye West – Ultralight Beam
“‘Ultralight Beam’ is such an incredible song! It’s extremely powerful and we love the church vibe to it with the amazing vocals.”

Alessia Cara – Scars To Your Beautiful Soul
“We love ‘Scars To Your Beautiful Soul’ because of the touching lyrics and the meaning behind it. It’s a great song and Alessia is one of our favorite artists.”

Ariana Grande – Why Try
“We both feel so much emotion when we listen to ‘Why Try’, especially with headphones on. We turn the volume up and listen to Ariana’s amazing vocals with a lot of satisfaction.”

Jhene Aiko – Bed Peace
“‘Bed Peace’ is always going to be one of our favourites. Jhene is great and the vibe of the song is so chilled. We definitely feel inspired when listening to her.”

Bravado – Lorde
“Lorde’s ‘Bravado’ has a great sound. It is a perfect track to sing along to and Lorde just creates brilliant music in general.”

There are some serious pop gems in this list! You know what is another great pop tune? ‘Always On My Mind’, the debut single of Hanna & Andrea. Check out this anthem on friendship!
