Kings Of Leon debut new single ‘Waste A Moment’
The guys of Kings of Leon are about to return with their seventh studio album, WALLS, We Are Like Love Songs. The first single ‘Waste A Moment’ is out now and it is their first new music since the release of previous album Mechanical Bull from 2013. The American band was incredibly popular in 2008 when their singles ‘Sex On Fire’ and ‘Use Somebody’ became huge hits and grew out to be modern classics. Ever since they have been solidly selling albums. The new single ‘Waste A Moment’ definitely does not bring anything new to the table, but Kings of Leon play to their strengths.

Kings of Leon are known for their anthemic alternative rock with stadium worthy bombastic choruses and ‘Waste A Moment’ is just that. The precisely three minutes long track opens with guitars and a fast drum rhythm until Caleb Folowill’s glorious vocals come in. The chorus opens with an anticipating ‘ooooh’ before the main hook with almost philosophical lyrics ‘take the time to waste a moment’ kicks in. It’s catchy, polished, radiofriendly and hit worthy, but at the same time quite predictable. Kings of Leon plays it safe with this new single, but let’s hope there is some room for more out of the box productions on WALLS, available on the 14th of October.

Update: The mysterious video for the track is out now!
