JoJo launches title track of upcoming album Mad Love
It has been a long battle for JoJo, but it is finally happening. In a month from now, we can finally listen to her third album Mad Love. The pop star who broke through with hit single ‘Leave (Get Out)’ when she was only 13 years old, returned last year by releasing three singles at the same time. This year the insanely catchy and confident first official single taken from Mad Love, ‘Fuck Apologies’, was launched. The record will come out on the 14th of October and to make the wait a little easier, we get the title track now.

‘Mad Love’ is a soulful midtempo pop number which gives JoJo a lot of room to show off her vocals. We hear her broad range when she reaches for the high notes, reminding of Ariana Grande’s sound at times. The chorus is big and vivacious and JoJo’s belting gives it even more power. Lyrically the song is an ode to a crazy and intense love affair. “Sometimes the emotions are so strong that you stay in it because it’s so exhilarating. What you get from it is passion and crazy and intensity, even though it might not be good for you. It’s so abundant, it’s so strong, and it’s what you’re used to and what you end up craving”, she explained the track to Vogue. We can’t wait to hear more JoJo!
