Måns Zelmerlöw drops new single ‘Glorious’
Måns Zelmerlöw is almost ready to release his brand new sixth studio album Chameleon. The record will be out on the 2nd of December. The last week of waiting will be a lot easier for his fans now that Zelmerlöw dropped another new single called ‘Glorious’. The Swedish winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 returns to a more dancey sound, leaving the guitar pop for a bit. Sure sounds like a hit!

When Zelmerlöw launched his previous electronic pop single ‘Hanging On To Nothing’, I praised the catchiness of the song, but stated at the same time his recent output all sounded very safe. ‘Glorious’, co-written by Måns himself, is not necessarily an exception to his, although it definitely sounds even more instant. It probably is the most hit worthy thing he released since his single ‘Heroes’ brought him the Eurovision trophy. Actually, with the right kind of production, I could have seen him winning the contest with this track as well. The chorus is big, the production is contemporary and there are even some hints of drum & bass rhythms in the chorus. Hopefully we get more of this when Chameleon drops next week!
