Snakehips and MØ team up on future hit ‘Don’t Leave’
2016 was a pretty big year for both Snakehips and MØ. The British producers duo had a decent hit with their Zayn collaboration ‘Cruel’ and the Danish pop star stormed the international charts with her latest single ‘Final Song’. They start off the new year by joining forces on the brand new single ‘Don’t Leave’. Turns out those two hit sensations are a golden combination and the first big hit of the year is born!

MØ’s popularity grew massively when she was featured on the Major Lazer single ‘Lean On’ in 2015. In 2016 she did it all over again with the same producers and Justin Bieber on ‘Cold Water’. On ‘Final Song’ she proved she does not need anyone else to release a hit. This however does not mean another collaboration is a bad idea. Actually, to team up with Snakehips was quite a brilliant move. It sounds different from MØ’s previous work with a slower rhythm, but at definitely just as catchy! The dramatic electronic production is very contemporary with the successes from producers like Flume fresh in our minds and the lyrics are utterly relatable. “I may not ever get my shit together, but ain’t nobody gonna love you better”, she tells her love interest in the big chorus, a chorus that deserves to dominate the start of this year!
