Kristian Kostov returns with new single in English
Bulgarian pop star Kristian Kostov is back with his first single in English since his big Eurovision adventure. The 17-year-old singer represented his country in 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with modern pop ballad ‘Beautiful Mess’ and managed to finish as the runner-up behind Portugal’s Salvador Sobral. After giving Bulgaria its best result in Eurovision he became one of the biggest stars of the country, but the ambitious Kostov wants more! He has his eyes set on the European market with new track ‘The One (I Need You)’.

Kostov released the tune as a thank you to his international fan community. ‘The One (I Need You)’ was written by Kristian, his brother Daniel and his brother’s girlfriend Maria and produced by the independent Ukrainian team Dynamika Production. The result is an uplifting proper pop track with some electronic influences. The sound is very contemporary in a Justin Bieber-esque way. So infectious! Kostov recorded a winter wonderland type of video with huskies, ice-skating and a whole lot of snow. Exactly the positive vibes we could use at the start of a new year!

According to Kristian’s team we can expect an EP later this year. There is also a collaboration coming with fellow Eurovision 2017 contestant JOWST from Norway.
