James Bay sings heart out on Gospel inspired ballad
James Bay went through quite the transformation, both in terms of his sound and his looks, for his upcoming sophomore album. The singer-songwriter who took the world by storm with stripped back guitar tunes, will release his second record Electric Light on the 18th of May. First single ‘Wild Love’ is a quirky little synth heavy tune with some vocal effects, while second track ‘Pink Lemonade’ served straight up 80s extravaganza with never ending hooks following each other. He now launched third track ‘Us’ which is a proper romantic ballad with a larger than life sing-along chorus. The build up in the track is impeccable and the finale with James belting out and a gospel choir joining in will take your breath away! I am liking this new direction for him very, very much!
