Sigrid keeps on bringing the goods with Raw tracks
It is hard to keep up with Sigrid these days. The Norwegian ‘Most Promising Artist for 2018’ drops a new track from her upcoming EP Raw every two weeks now. She started out with the powerful title track and the vulnerable ‘I Don’t Want To Know’ followed. Now track 3, ‘High Five’, is out. For this one, Sigrid speeds up the pace and gives us another proper pop anthem. She keeps delivering with big and infectious choruses. The vibe here, especially in terms of the sassy lyrics, is somewhat similar to absolute banger ‘Plot Twist’. This time the subject is the type of person that only surrounds him or herself with yes-men. “Don’t you get tired of looking for high fives?”, she sings. This lady asks all the right questions and keeps bringing us the bops!
