Troye Sivan and Ariana Grande ‘Dance To This’ on new single
It might well be one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year for us pop fans. Troye Sivan and Ariana Grande both delivered a track that I consider one of the best of the year so far (‘My My My‘ and ‘No Tears Left To Cry‘), so the prospect of having both of them on one and the same tune sure is an exciting one. Sivan had teased the collaboration, which will be part of his Bloom album (out in August) for a good while, but now it is finally here!

Not to kill all excitement straight away, but ‘Dance To This’ is not as exciting as the before mentioned lead singles of both artists. It is still a tune and a half though! This is what we call an understated bop! Both Troye and Ariana deliver their verse with warm vocals and a sensual vibe. The chorus is catchy enough, but it is the outstanding instrumental production at the end of the chorus that will sing around in your head after the track finishes. The middle-eight delivers an interesting change of vibe, but would be more effective if the last chorus actually had some sort of climax. Either way, this will sound great on Troye’s album and might even become a proper hit thanks to Ariana’s star power!
