David Guetta teams up with Anne-Marie on new single
Anne-Marie is everywhere these days! The British pop star is highly sought after for collaborations since the success of ‘Rockabye’, her hit single with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul. Other than releasing her very own debut album Speak Your Mind earlier this year, she also appeared on singles by Rudimental and Marshmello. Next up is a collaboration with DJ, producer and most of all sure fire hit maker David Guetta. He follows up his international hit and fifth collab with Sia, ‘Flames’. The Guetta / Anne-Marie project is titled ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone’. Will it light up the charts soon?

To be honest, considering the two artists that teamed up for this track, it could be considered slightly underwhelming. Sure, there is a proper chorus there, Anne-Marie’s delivery is pop star worthy, but the instrumental drop sounds like a rehash of basically everything we have heard in the charts for two years straight. Lyrically, it is all about not being able to let go of a relationship in fear of ending up alone. Relatable for sure, but also quite cliche, isn’t it? It might still become a hit, but both have done better and still could do better!
