LP is ready for the next era with new single ‘Girls Go Wild’
After years and years of hard work, LP finally had her big break in the charts in 2016. The year started well with her track ‘Muddy Waters’ being futured in the climax of the fourth season of Netflix hit series Orange Is The New Black, but it was ‘Lost On You’ that in the end stormed the charts. She released an album with the same name in December of that year, but is already ready for the next step. This weekend she released her brand new single ‘Girls Go Wild’, taken from her upcoming fifth record.

LP’s ‘Lost On You’ became such a big hit thanks to catchy guitar riffs and a big sing along chorus. In comparison, ‘Girls Go Wild’ is slightly more laidback, but serves big pop melodies too. The track has got an addictive breezy vibe going on and would work well as a soundtrack to a roadtrip on the West Coast. Laura Pergolizzi (LP’s full name) has been performing the track live for a couple of months now and worked with producer Mike Del Rio on the final product, which is lush. LP came back soon enough to keep some of her momentum going and this catchy guitar pop with hints of funk rock is exactly what we need form her!
