Rita Ora finally announces second album and drops new tune
It is over six years ago that Rita Ora had her breakthrough with hits ‘How We Do (Party)’ and ‘R.I.P.’. While her debut album followed soon after, it took her ages to come up with the follow up. Ora has been releasing numerous singles in the past couple of years and now finally announced her sophomore album Phoenix, which will see the light of day on the 23rd of November. It will feature her most recent hit singles ‘Your Song’, ‘Anywhere’ (which of course should have been an international number 1), ‘For You’ with Liam Payne and the little mistake called ‘Girls’. Ora now drops the brand new track ‘Let You Love Me’.

With ‘Let You Love Me’, Rita Ora serves another radiofriendly bop to storm the charts. Admitted, it sounds like it has been ready for a while as the production is more in line with the trends of 2016 than 2018, but that is easy to forgive and forget when the chorus kicks in. The hook might not be as almighty as pop 10/10 ‘Anywhere’, but it sure is incredibly catchy. It settles in your brain after literally one listen. But isn’t it a tad generic? It sure is and we know Rita can do even better, but this is a safe hit that will generate more buzz around the upcoming album release, that will hopefully feature some more adventurous compositions and productions too!
