Lauv and Troye Sivan join forces on new single ‘I’m So Tired…’
We love it when our favourite pop stars start working together. Troye Sivan has given us quite some collaborations lately. The Australian heartthrob dropped his sophomore record Bloom last year, for which he recorded the duet ‘Dance To This’ with the one and only Ariana Grande. A couple of months later he appeared on the insanely catchy single ‘1999’ by UK pop star Charli XCX. American producer and singer Lauv, who A Bit of Pop Music tipped to become one of the next big things in pop this year, had success with his single ‘I Like Me Better’, after which he recorded the stunning duet ‘There’s No Way’ with Julia Michaels. Now the two join forces on the brand new single ‘I’m So Tired…’.

As one would expect from a collaborative track by Lauv and Sivan, ‘I’m So Tired…’ is an insanely catchy little bop. The understated, but swinging way it is produced is completely on trend and although it is clearly a Lauv track featuring Troye, the latter does not sound out of place at all on this song. Lyrically, the two singers admit how tired they are of hearing love songs and seeing everybody around them fall in love while they are still alone. Relatable Kings! As the chorus is basically made up out of two sentences that are repeated over and over, it is a good thing that the track does not last any longer than 2 minutes and 42 seconds for it not to get on our nerves too quickly. We will have to wait and see if this will be a chart hit for them, but I am pretty sure two big international fan bases will enjoy this… A LOT!
