Zedd and Katy Perry finally release collaboration ‘365’
Zedd must be used to working with the biggest stars on the planet by now. The Russian-German producer has released tracks with the likes of Ariana Grande, Liam Payne, Selena Gomez, Alessia Cara, Troye Sivan, Kesha and more recently Maren Morris, with whom he had the huge hit ‘The Middle’. Pop fans online have discussed rumours of him collaborating with Katy Perry for ages now and earlier this year a version of their track ‘365’ leaked. Now we finally get the finished product with a highly entertaining video!

Katy Perry is at a stage in her career where she could use a big hit. Her 2017 album Witness was not the success she must have hoped for and the only thing we have heard ever since is a cover of musical classic ‘Waving Through a Window’. ‘365’ might be just that for her as it is very easy on the ear, without being too obvious. The track is not necessarily a straight up banger, but has a more subtle, slightly laidback production and rhythm. Perry’s vocals follow suit with a more sultry tone and this is perfect for the sexy and undeniably catchy chorus. This is tailormade for mainstream success in 2019!

Both artists appear in the sci-fi themed video in which Perry plays a robot and Zedd a test subject. We all know how Perry likes to be silly and make faces in her music videos, but for ‘365’ it works perfectly. She is funny and even managed to get across the ’emotions’ of the robot. I love it when two artists come together and deliver something that gets out the best in both of them.
