Måns Zelmerlöw teams up with Dotter on new single ‘Walk With Me’
Måns Zelmerlöw is back! The Swedish pop star who won the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2015 with the track ‘Heroes’, released his most recent album Chameleon back in 2016. In the meantime he became father of a son, hosted the UK national final for Eurovision and now is back as his pop star self. He announced that his new single ‘Walk With Me’ is the first track taken from his upcoming album out sometime in fall. On ‘Walk With Me’ he duets with Swedish pop singer-songwriter Dotter, who participated in Melodifestivalen last year with the banger ‘Cry’. She returned in summer with infectious bop ‘Heatwave’ and is back in Melodifestivalen this year as songwriter of finalist Lina Hedlund’s ‘Victorious’. A duet by those two Swedish pop masterminds could hardly go wrong and it sure did not. It is exactly the contemporary radio hit we hoped for. While Måns performs the first verse and chorus, Dotter takes the second verse. From then on their voices melt together beautifully and they repeat the radiofriendly chorus together a couple of times. An uncomplicated, catchy little pop tune is all we need from a Måns Zelmerlöw and Dotter duet!
They performed the song live during the Andra Chansen round of Melodifestivalen.
