Lena returns with new tropical bop ‘Don’t Lie To Me’
Lena Meyer-Landrut is preparing the release of her fifth studio album. The German Eurovision winner returned at the end of last year after a long break by releasing the infectious comeback single ‘Thank You’. It was announced as the first track taken from her album Only Love, L which will be released on the 5th of April. Today she finally launched the second single, titled ‘Don’t Lie To Me’. She delivered another upbeat pop tune with a contemporary production. This is what they call a tropical bop these days! With a swinging rhythm and an undeniable hook, Lena makes sure we won’t forget about this tune for the rest of our day. In terms of sound it is completely in line with ‘Thank You’, so that gives us an idea of where this album is heading. In the lyrics, Lena begs of her partner not to make the same mistake she did. She wants all the lies gone to be able to be open and honest. Relatable bops are the best bops!
