Sara Bareilles drops soulful album track ahead of full record
Sara Bareilles is almost ready to drop a brand new studio album. The record titled Amidst The Chaos will arrive on the 5th of April and Bareilles keeps spoon feeding us new material of it. At the end of last year she made a glorious return with feminist anthem ‘Armor’ and last month she followed it up with ‘Fire’. Today she unleashed track number 3 ‘Saint Honesty’. Listening to this soulful ballad is an experience! These are some of the strongest vocals Bareilles has ever recorded! The song has a delicate chorus with soaring vocal lines, but is the middle-eight and the climax that absolutely make the song. Bareilles belts for her life, but it never sounds like she is trying hard to impress us. Every single big note has an urge and necessity. One could wake me up in the middle of the night to play the last minute of this song on repeat and I would not be mad one bit!
