Madonna collaborates with Swae Lee on new track ‘Crave’
Madonna keeps the new tunes coming. After launching her comeback single ‘Medellín’ featuring Maluma, she released promo single ‘I Rise’ last week. Today she dropped the third track taken from her upcoming album Madame X, out on the 14th of June. It is the Swae Lee collaboration ‘Crave’. The track starts out with a guitar riff, but is taken over by a contemporary trap production early on. Madonna takes on the first verse with some Swae Lee like effects on her vocals too. The Rae Sremmurd rapper takes the second verse, but to be fair ‘Crave’ is all about the chorus. The main hook is excellent! “You’re the one I crave and my cravings get dangerous. The feelings never fade,
I don’t think we should play with this”, Madonna sings over the laidback beat in a seductive melody. Madonna shows off she can still do contemporary without sounding like she is trying too hard. A tune and a half!
