Adam Lambert returns with sexy new single ‘New Eyes’
Adam Lambert announced his comeback as a solo artist earlier this year and dropped the track ‘Feel Something’. It was the first thing he wrote and released after a darker period and the start of him releasing with an independent label. Now it is time for the proper comeback single, titled ‘New Eyes’. Lambert leaves the EDM beats of his previous records behind and goes for a funky, glam, rock sound with a sexy vibe. The rhythm is seductive and Lambert’s vocals sound exceptional in this type of track. Melodically this is the sexier and more daring brother of Niall Horan’s ‘Slow Hands’. It is poppy enough to get the hook in your head on first listen and at the same time Lambert gives himself some room to experiment with new old sounds. This is definitely a step in the right direction and should create some buzz for his upcoming album Velvet.
