Mark Ronson works with YEBBA on third Late Night Feelings track
The release date of Mark Ronson’s upcoming album Late Night Feelings is slowly but surely getting closer. The whole thing will be launched on the 21st of June and will feature the outstanding collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Lykke Li. Today he drops the third track taken from the album and it is a collaboration with YEBBA. The American singer-songwriter has a powerful and soulful voice and it absolutely shines on ‘Don’t Leave Me Lonely’. The flirting with disco is a little more subtle on this one than Lykke Li track ‘Late Night Feelings’, but both productions sound like they belong to the same sonic universe. The hook is gorgeous and YEBBA’s vocals easily go from subdued and fragile to full force belting. The production brings a swinging and sensual vibe. ‘Don’t Leave Me Lonely’ has a timeless quality sounding like a throwback, but at the same time featuring contemporary pop elements. Long story short, this is a massive tune and Late Night Feelings is shaping up to be one of the records of the year!
