Shura drops new single with her most accomplished video yet
Shura is going to drop her sophomore album just over three years after her stunning debut Nothing’s Real came out. She announced today that the album titled Forevher is out on the 16th of August. First single ‘BKLYNLDN‘ was released earlier this year and now it is time for the second one, titled ‘Religion (U Can Lay Your Hands On Me)’. She switches up the tempo a little bit with a groovy synth pop number. The overall vibe is very sultry and seductive and Shura’s dreamy vocals are the cherry on top. This track is catchy from the very first listen and brings warm andfuzzy feelings. This is excellent stuff!
Shura debuted the video for the track, which is easily her most accomplished and stylish visual to date. We see her walking around a garden of Eden setting in a white suit, keeping an eye on the nuns around her who are ready to explore each other. There is a lot of longing in their eyes and the video ends with a few kisses and dances. The video was directed by Chloe Wallace, who created picture perfect shots which totally match the climax of the song.
