Anna Bergendahl follows up Melodifestivalen success with new track
Anna Bergendahl made an impressive comeback at the Melodifestivalen stage this year. The Swedish singer-songwriter represented her country at Eurovision in 2010 with the beautiful ballad ‘This Is My Life’, but remains the country’s only act that did not make the final. She returned to the Swedish national final with the absolute country pop banger ‘Ashes To Ashes’ and reached the top 10, but also had one of the biggest hits after the contest. She now returns with a brand new single titled ‘Home’.

Bergendahl continues her pop sound with a twist of country on the new single ‘Home’. The track has a contemporary vibe with a vivacious chorus and a careful build up that starts out with just guitar, but has a choir joining in about halfway through. Her vocals truly shine on the higher notes she hits. Lyrically, the song is all about finding your way back home after a tough period. Bergendahl co-wrote ‘Home’ with Niklas Carson Mattsson and Per Magnusson who also produced the tune. Anna Bergendahl deserves another big hit!
