Norwegian Eurovision stars KEiiNO release new single
Norwegian band KEiiNO pulled one of the biggest surprises in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2019 by winning the televote. Their track ‘Spirit In The Sky’ received the most points from the people at home, but as the juries mostly did not appreciate their entry, they finished in a (still respectable) sixth position overall. They now follow up their Eurovision succes with the new single ‘Praying’. The track once again mixes elements of Joik with a pop produciton, but ‘Praying’ definitely has a more contemporary feel than ‘Spirit In The Sky’, which sounds like a classic Eurovision banger. The new single seems to borrow some influences from producer, dj and fellow Norwegian Kygo. The hooks are once again instantly catchy. It is only little over a month after Eurovision and KEiiNO already proved they are no one day fly, because ‘Praying’ is a bop!
