Pop artist Dotter says ‘I Do’ on epic new single
Swedish singer-songwriter and pop artist Dotter has been consistently dropping flawless pop tunes in the past few years. She reached new heights last year with the release of the singles ‘Cry’ and ‘Heatwave’, but ever since things got quiet until she returned early this year with ‘Walk With Me’, a duet with Eurovision winner Måns Zelmerlöw. Now she is back on her own with the epic new pop tune ‘I Do’, which she co-wrote with Fredrik Samson, John Eiden and Oliver Lundström.
On the track, Dotter sings about her unconditional love for her partner, almost begging them to ask that question! Her lyrics perfectly balance between romantic and border on obsessive, with which she seems to be playing in her vocal delivery too. The production is rich and layered and seems to subtly play with the wedding theme in the lyrics with a hint of organ in the background. You can already picture her walking down the aisle with that tune playing in the background. The chorus is an absolute powerhouse with big and vivacious melodies that are both catchy and addictive. I have said it before and I will say it again: people need to stop sleeping on Dotter, because she is easily one of the most exciting and fresh pop artists out there!
