Camila Cabello drops another new single titled ‘Easy’
Camila Cabello certainly was not joking around when she announced she was going to release a lot of new music. The former Fifth Harmony star kicked had a number 1 hit with ‘Senorita’, a duet with Shawn Mendes, and kicked off her new solo project Romance with the singles ‘Shameless’ and ‘Liar‘. Last week she dropped ‘Cry For Me’ and now we get ‘Easy’. On ‘Cry For Me’ she sang about an ex who moved on too quicky, while ‘Easy’ describes a happy relationship that does Cabello’s mental health good. “Always thought I was hard to love, ’til you made it seem so easy”, she tells her lover. The track, produced by Carter Lang, Westen Weiss, Frank Dukes and Louis Bell, is a midtempo belter with an anthemic chorus, but it is also slightly more generic than its predecessors. ‘Easy’ is a more than decent pop single, but not as hit worthy or memorable as the three other Romance singles we have heard so far.
