Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber finally team up for their first duet
They have been friends for years and share Scooter Braun as their manager, so it is quite surprising that we had to wait this long to hear the first Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber duet. It seems that the Covid-19 crisis finally brought them together. Well, not literally of course, but their collaboration ‘Stuck With U’ could not have been released at a more suitable time.

‘Stuck With U’, which Bieber, Grande and Braun wrote together with Gian Stone, Freddy Wexler, Whitney Phillips and Skyler Stonestreet, could best be described as a soulful R&B ballad, perfectly suitable for a slow dance at prom. Although Ariana and Justin have quite different vocal and music styles, they managed to find a sound that suits both of them, although it is definitely closer to Grande’s earlier work. The lyrics are all about locking yourself up with your loved one and having nowhere else to go. We sure all can relate to that! Well… at least the last part… Sure, this first Ariana and Justin collaboration is very much on the safe side and definitely not a highlight in either of their discographies, but it is a cute enough tune of which the proceeds go to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
