Exactly, you create a solo album. His first effort on his own, the album Flamingo, was released in 2010 and five years later he is back with the follow up called The Desired Effect. For this project, he immersed himself in the pop sound of the 80s. And to be clear, not just a little, but devotedly.

Lucy Spraggan sounds grown up on new album We Are
Lucy Spraggan participated in the X Factor UK in 2012 and she was one of those artists that completely blew everyone away at the auditions. Spraggan performed her own song ‘Last Night (Beer Fear)’ about waking up after a night of a little too much partying and her performance went viral with over 33 million viewers on YouTube. She had to leave the competition due to illness, but came back with the album Join The Club in 2013. This week, she released her third record called We Are and the growth she shows is impressive.

Ann Sophie is the German contestant of the Eurovision Song Contest of 2015 in Vienna. She will sing her outstanding soulful pop track ‘Black Smoke’ in the big final, but she proves she is not a one trick pony on her debut album Silver Into Gold that she just released. The record could be described as a mix between pop and soul with strong vocals and enough diversity in terms of style of the songs.
