Melt! Festival is one of the biggest events in Europe’s festival summer. The line up has three days full of world class acts to offer. There is something for everyone as the variety ranges from Kylie Minogue to Nina Kraviz and from Years & Years to Jamie T. Of course I focused more on the pop side this weekend and I can tell you, there was A LOT to enjoy in this genre. These were my highlights of Melt! Festival 2015!
On the 16th of July it is finally time for the kick-off of Melt Festival in Germany. On thursday evening a pre-party takes place and from friday to sunday artists from all around the world visit the place to perform at the main festival. Aurora from Bergen, Norway, is one of the most exciting new electronic pop artists out there at the moment. The singer-songwriter is only 18 years old and is expected to do great things as her single ‘Runaway’ made waves on the internet. Even Katy Perry said she was a fan. The singer is planning to perform at quite a few festivals this summer and she released the single ‘Running With the Wolves’ just before. The video for this single came out today and that is why it is song of the day at A Bit of Pop Music today.
