If you checked out Caracal, the recent Disclosure album, you probably already heard a Lion Babe track. Their ‘Hourglass’ was one of the absolute highlights. If not, I’m here to enlighten you! The duo consisting of singer Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman has been quite active in the music industry ever since they released their neo-soul debut single ‘Treat Me Like Fire’ in 2012. An EP followed in 2014 and now they are preparing the release of their debut album, appropriately called Begin, in January 2016. ‘Where Do We Go’ is the newest single!
Sia is disco queen on new track with Giorgio Moroder
Giorgio Moroder may not ring a bell if you ask the youth of today, but this man has definitely earned his stripes in music and especially his genre: disco. The Italian producer who worked with Donna Summer on hits like the ground breaking ‘I Feel Love’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘On The Radio’ had huge successes in the seventies, when disco’s popularity was huge. In 2013, he returned to the public eye with a collaboration on the Daft Punk album Random Access Memories. Now he is totally hot again, or as he himself puts it, ’74 is the new 24′. He just launched his new single ‘Deja Vu’ with vocals by one of the most exciting stars of the moment, Sia!
