Aminata is a rising star in her home country Latvia. She won the preselection Supernova with the song ‘Love Injected’, that she completely wrote herself. In the meantime she also launched her debut album called Inner Voice. She will try to bring Latvia into the final of the Eurovision Song Contest again, after they failed to qualify six years in a row. I talked to Aminata about the pressure this brings and what inspired her to write ‘Love Injected’.

Interview Elnur Hüseynov: ‘I represent myself with ‘Hour of the Wolf”
Azerbaijan is represented by Elnur Hüseynov in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest this year. It is not the first time the singer represents his country. In 2008, he was the first ever contestant for Azerbaijan together with Samir, when they performed the song ‘Day After Day’ as angel and devil. In the meantime he won the voice of Turkey and now he is back in Eurovision with the ballad ‘Hour of the Wolf’. Like almost every year, Azerbaijan is one of the hot favourites for the win in Vienna. I spoke to Elnur about participating in Eurovision for the second time and his admiration for the Australian participant Guy Sebastian.

Eurovision in Concert keeps on getting bigger and better
For the seventh year in a row, a few Eurovision enthusiasts organized a promo concert in Amsterdam for the participants of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in May in Vienna, Austria. What started out as a small event in a club, grew out to be one of the biggest Eurovision related events of the year. Fans from all over Europe come over to Amsterdam to see a lot of their favourites of that year. In 2015, the organization managed to bring over 24 out of the 40 participants and even some top favourites for the victory. Here is a review of the performances of the night.
