Jeff Mills brings new musical experience to Concertgebouw Amsterdam
Jeff Mills is currently working on quite a special project. The world famous techno DJ and producer started working with orchestra’s six years ago and left the clubs and festivals for concert halls where people listen to his music in their seats. While people might have reacted sceptical to his ideas at first, Mills was determined to create a new experience in the still growing electronic music world, not in the last place to inspire other artists. In a sold out Concertgebouw in Amsterdam he performed his piece Light From The Outside World together with the Noord Nederlands Orkest. It was impressive to say the least.
