Sia is disco queen on new track with Giorgio Moroder
Giorgio Moroder may not ring a bell if you ask the youth of today, but this man has definitely earned his stripes in music and especially his genre: disco. The Italian producer who worked with Donna Summer on hits like the ground breaking ‘I Feel Love’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘On The Radio’ had huge successes in the seventies, when disco’s popularity was huge. In 2013, he returned to the public eye with a collaboration on the Daft Punk album Random Access Memories. Now he is totally hot again, or as he himself puts it, ’74 is the new 24′. He just launched his new single ‘Deja Vu’ with vocals by one of the most exciting stars of the moment, Sia!

Video Review: Say Lou Lou – Nothing But A Heartbeat
Say Lou Lou invite fans into their dream worlds in short film
The Swedish-Australian twin sister pop duo Say Lou Lou has released a video for their latest single ‘Nothing But A Heartbeat’. The girls have been teasing us with a lot of photos and short fragments of this project they are very excited about. They premiered the short film about lucid dreaming (a dream in which the dreamer realizes the events are not real) on the internet earlier today and I have to say I am impressed by this moving work.

Selah Sue back with long awaited second record
It is already four years ago that Selah Sue impressed in the European charts with her self titled debut album. The young singer, whose real name is Sanne Putseys, came back late in 2014 with the brand new single ‘Alone’, a first taste of the always important sophomore record. The catchy and funky track got brought her positive reactions and quite a lot of buzz. Now she launched her second album called Reason. Because the wait was long, the expectations are high, but is she able to impress once again?
Single Review: Rihanna – Bitch Better Have My Money
Has Rihanna lost ‘it’ in R8 campagne?
There was a time where Rihanna released albums like it was no big deal. From 2009 until 2012, every November there was a new Rihanna record in stores and before that she released new material almost every year as well. She stopped this tradition and took time to work on a fresh musical direction. Earlier this year she came back with ‘FourFiveSeconds’, a duet with Kanye West and Paul McCartney and the first single of her R8 project. This week, she launched the second single ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’. The songs are quite different in terms of style and genre, but the thing they have in common is that both are quite disappointing and tuneless.

The name Jody Brock might not yet ring a bell, but this is about to change soon. The 22-years-old British singer studied at Brit School (the school where only Adele, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Katy B, Jessie J and Katie Melua went) for a few years, along with Ella Eyre and Rizzle Kicks. Jody just released his debut EP called Phoenix and his gorgeous vocals just need to be heard.
Single Review: Florence + the Machine – St. Jude
Florence explores new sounds on upcoming third record
Florence + the Machine are in the midst of the promotion of their upcoming third album called How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. In February, Florence Welch and her band launched their immense comeback single ‘What Kind Of Man’ with loud vocals and a whirlwind of a chorus. The second track to be taken from the new album, ‘St. Jude’, is kind of the opposite and seems to function as the calm after the storm.

Well, you don’t need to imagine it anymore, because you can just play Brandon Flowers’ new single. The lead singer of the band The Killers is back with a brand new song called ‘Can’t Deny My Love’, the first track to be released from his second solo album called The Desired Effect, which will launch on 18 May.
Album Review: Marina & the Diamonds – FROOT

Marina & the Diamonds releases third album FROOT. It is her most personal and balanced record to date and shows her artistical views perfectly. Already a contender for album of the year if you ask me. Continue reading
