Ariana Grande returns stronger than ever
Ariana Grande was at the top of her game with the promotion of her third album Dangerous Woman which she released back in 2016. The pop star was in the middle of her most successful era so far with hit singles like ‘Into You’ and ‘Side To Side’ when her life completely changed after a concert in Manchester in May 2017. Her fans became the target of a terrorist attack in which 23 people lost their lives. Grande organized a benefit concert a couple of weeks later and disappeared from the spotlights for a while. She worked hard on new material and she is back, stronger than ever! Her new single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ is an absolutely glorious return!

All eyes are on Ariana for this meaningful comeback and she absolutely delivered. ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ (co-written and produced by Max Martin) is one of those songs that grabs you by the throat from the first notes on. Ariana’s voice sounds ethereal and the production is dreamy and delicate. Then when the first verse starts, a 90s inspired beat drops and the pace completely changes. It is not easy to describe ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ in terms of style, as a lot is happening, but that chorus is one of the best I have heard this year. It is an absolute pop dream! Her vocals soar, the way the backing vocals are merged in is exquisite and the synths sounds like they came from another dimension. The visuals of the music video completely match the dreamy vibe of the song. Ariana and her team are taking a risk with this unconventional pop song that breaks with the way she sounded before and I applaud her for that. This is one hell of a comeback and I cannot wait to hear what else Grande has cooked up for us.
