LÉON drops new single ‘You And I’ and announces debut album
Swedish pop artist LÉON has been around for quite a while now, but she still hasn’t released an album. She dropped a couple of EPs so far, including great tunes like ‘Surround Me’ and ‘Tired of Talking’, but kicked off a new era with her single ‘Baby Don’t Talk’ last year. This track was marked as the first single taken from her self titled debut album, which will be out on the 1st of March. The second single ‘Falling’ followed and this weekend she shared ‘You And I’ with us, which might well me her most uptempo track to date! As always with LÉON, we are served hooks for days and warm and soulful vocals. It’s seriously so catchy! In the lyrics, LÉON pretends that her ex-lover still wants to be with her and every person she meets she imagines to be her ex. “When I shut my eyes you seem closer, dancing to keep the tears away”, she sings. A sad bop!
