MNEK announces debut album and drops new single ‘Crazy World’
It is finally happening! Hit writer, producer and all round amazing pop star MNEK is dropping his debut album Language on the 7th of September, which is only about three weeks away! After writing and/or producing for the biggest stars like Madonna, Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue and Little Mix, MNEK recently focused more on his solo career, which resulted in his best single yet, ‘Tongue’. To get us even more excited for his very first album, he dropped the new track ‘Crazy World’ over the weekend.

‘Crazy World’ is a powerful anthem about the problems in the world with racism and homophobia. He describes the lives of people who face discrimination because of the colour of their skin or their sexuality and states: “Somebody’s trying to live their lives, trying to survive, but you won’t believe that it’s true ’til that someone is you.” Powerful stuff! The house inspired production is quite bonkers and the whole structure of the song with prominent backing vocals by Becky Hill, is unusual to say the least. Once you get used to the flow of the track, it is easy to get hooked. Counting down the days for more MNEK!
