Julie Bergan drops ‘Guilt Trip’ week prior to debut album launch
Norwegian pop artist Julie Bergan is almost ready to release her long awaited debut album Turn On The Lights. Bergan became a star in her home country when she had a huge hit with ‘Arigato’ and she has been proving herself over and over again ever since. Her fantastic midtempo pop belter ‘Incapable’ earned her a place on A Bit of Pop Music’s list of most promising artists for 2018. We are only a few weeks in and she already shows us she deserved her spot! One week prior to the release of her debut record, she drops the poptastic new single ‘Guilt Trip’.

For ‘Guilt Trip’, Produced by Skinny Days and written by Caroline Ailin, Dag Holtan-Hartwig and Halvor Folstad, Julie takes on the role of the jealous partner, who does not really want her boyfriend to go out. She knows exactly how to get him to feel guilty about leaving her at home, so she makes sure he will be back soon! “Guilt trip you all the way home, guilt trip you back in my arms”, she sings over an infectious synth pop production. Lyrically quite original, Bergan’s delivery is full of attitude and the hook is insanely catchy. Julie Bergan delivered us some more pop perfection! Stay tuned for the release of Turn On The Lights on the 2nd of February!
